Mirage Screen Systems Inc. Makes A Donation to Canadian Red Cross

Being told that you have to leave your home and your treasured belongings behind is always traumatic. Sadly, that is exactly what happened to thousands of British Columbians affected by the forest fires this season. The massive wildfires triggered evacuations in several communities across the province and the fast-moving flames have forced people from their homes and left communities devastated by the destruction brought on by the forest fires. As a company that was founded in British Columbia, when we heard about the dire situation affecting our fellow British Columbians, we knew that we had to do something. In the month of July, we donated $10 from every screen sold in British Columbia towards the Red Cross BC Forest Fire Relief. The Red Cross is supporting the province of British Columbia and local authorities in providing assistance to those affected by the wildfires. The donation will go towards providing immediate relief supplies such as cots and blankets, and towards family reunification and financial assistance for food, clothing and personal needs for those affected. Beyond immediate help, the donation may also be used to help with re-entry and go towards more long-term recovery, resiliency, and preparedness. The total amount we raised was $4,420.00 going directly towards the Red Cross and the British Columbia Fires Appeal. If you would like to contribute, you can donate here.
